Welcoming 2015!

Happy 2015 Everyone! As weird as it is to say so, 2014 is officially over. My last day of 2014 was an interesting one indeed. Beginning with the trouble of a frozen car door, to spending time with those I haven't seen in a while, and ending with the best evening in downtown Boise!

Once I got into my car, and I spent a few hours at work, I went to have coffee with most of my church girls! It was nice, and crowded, sitting with them and discussing our new lives we have been living.

After working, writing my last blog post for 2014, and watching the end of the fiesta bowl (..go BSU!), it was time for the downtown adventure to begin.

Idaho began this thing called the Idaho Potato Drop. It began last year where they drop a giant potato in the same style as the ball in New York. I went the first year, and returned to it for the second annual potato drop.

Since New Years eve was to be the coldest night Boise has seen this winter so far, my friends and I bundled up and spent about three hours in my favorite coffee shop. We decided to head down there super early to beat the crazy crowd. Early as in 7 P.M. The coffee shop we went to was the District Coffee House (check out my past post on it!).

Around 10 P.M. we decided it was time to hit the streets. We walked down to a couple of the stages for a few minutes and then found our spot for the evening show, the Potato Drop. We were close to the fence which mean the news crew could see us well...and well, lets just say this was a thing on T.V.:

The night was so wonderful! The only way you can really see what crazy thing happened with my friends, and the greatness that is Idaho, is by watching my New Years Eve video! It is a little longer than I expected. But really, how can you cut out some of the best moments of the night. In reality, almost every moment was the best, that is why it is a little long, but enjoyable! So, enjoy!

Oh, and have a happy New Year and a splendid 2015!
