Graduation Party Favors

Its that time of year again! Graduation parties are everywhere, and mine is only a short week away! Celebrating a graduation is a special and exciting time, so why not prepare some cute fun party favors that you can eat?

I am going to show, step by step, how I made these adorable Reese's Graduation Cap treats! Enjoy!

Materials!

Black Card-stock
Miniature Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
Ribbon (color of your choice)
Small whole puncher or a nail
Brads
Hot Glue Gun
Scissors

A nail would work as well

The brads are quite small

Step One

Take your black constructions paper and cut them into squares ( about 1 3/4th inch squares)

Step Two

Take your whole puncher or nail and punch out a tiny whole in the middle of each of the black squares

Step Three

Cut out your ribbon into little pieces that are about 1 and a half to two inches in length.

This is what those pieces look like folded in half

Step Four

With the cut ribbon folded in half, place the brad in the top crease (where the fold is). Essentially, you are wrapping the ribbon around the brad itself.

Step Five

Place the brad wrapped in the ribbon into the whole in the black squares, and fold out the brad until it is locked in place.

Step Six

Now that the cap is made, its time to add the yummy Reese's!
Take your wrapped Reese's miniature, and put a dab of hot glue on the top. Then, quickly place the cap on top of the glue and press down for 5 seconds.

Congratulations! You have created a Graduation Cap Party Favor! Now, it is time to celebrate!
